Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier reserves the right to make any change to these terms and conditions of sales, given that new terms and conditions of sales will only take effect for the orders placed after the publication of the modifications. The work of an optician is a profession regulated by the law.

Article 2 – Offer
The products presented on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com are described in French, the most accurately possible.
The pictures representing the products have an indicative value and alterations are susceptible to occur due to transcription on the website Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier.
However, if in spite of our best effort an error should happen, the client could benefit from the guarantees provided in the article 7 or a withdrawal according to the conditions from the article 8..
Article 3 – Order
3.1 – The orders of products exclusively act on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com and are delivered at the client’s home or at the address he has indicated during the order process.
3.2 – Before placing any order, the client certifies:
- Being a natural person, legally competent and aged 18 years old minimum;
- Being the holder or a duly authorized person to use the credit carte used to pay the total amount of the order; given that the same credit card gives access to sufficient funds to cover the total amount of the order.
In case of corrective contact lenses, the client certifies while ordering that he has in his procession a medical prescription for the corrective contact lenses ordered, made by an ophthalmologist and still valid on the day of the validation of the payment of the order.
It is recalled to the client that the first delivery of corrective contact lenses needs a medical supervision. The delivery of corrective contact lenses on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr can only occur after the client’s ophthalmologist realizes the adaptation and after the client delivers the adapted medical prescription.

Article 4 – Price
4.1 – The prices of the products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr are indicated in euros (€) all the French taxes are included and take into account the Value Added Tax (VAT) in effect on the day of the validation of the payment of the order by the client.
Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier reserves the right to modify the prices of the products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr at any given time and without notice; given that the price of the products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr in effect is the one figuring on the mentioned website on the day of the validation of the payment of the order by the client. The prices of the products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr are exclusive of the shipping costs.
4.2 – The order delivered at the client’s home or to the address indicated by the client during the order process, in accordance with the article 3, is payable immediately by credit card.
Are accepted on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr, the following credit cards: Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard. The bank account of the holder of the credit card used by the client to pay the amount of the order will be debited from the date of the order confirmation.
The payments are realized through the security system 3DS which uses the SSL protocol (Secure Socket Layer) so that the information transmitted by the client are encrypted by a software and that no third party can become aware of it during the transmission on the network.
The data related to the credit cards are only used for transaction purposes. For all orders placed on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr, after validation of the payment of the same order by the client, this customer will receive an invoice by email.
Article 5 – Unavailability of products
If the product(s) ordered by the client is/are not available, the client is informed by email of the unavailability of his product(s) and refunded within fourteen (14) days from the day of reception by the client of the email informing him of the unavailability of the product(s) ordered.
Article 6 – Delivery
6.1 – The deliveries of the products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com occur in France and internationally.
Les produits commandés sont livrés au domicile du client ou à l’adresse indiquée par le client au cours du processus de commande. La livraison est réalisée par La Poste ou DPD suivant le choix du client.
*The delivery is free for orders over 90 € only in Metropolitan France.
A tracking number is attributed to the client’s package, allowing him to track the delivery process of its order.
The client will be informed by email of the shipment of the product(s).
6.2 – The delivery of the ordered products to the client’s home or to the address indicated by the client during the order process is payable by the client.
6.3 – The shipment of the product(s) ordered by the client, to its home or to any other address indicated by the client during the order process will occur within fifteen (15) days from the date of the confirmation of the record of the order. In case of delayed delivery of more than seven (7) days excluding a case of force majeure, the client will have the possibility, within sixty (60) days from the expiration of the seven (7) days above-mentioned, to ask for the cancellation of its order, by sending a registered letter with an acknowledgement of receipt to SARL ORC.
In case of cancellation of the sale in the conditions above-mentioned, the client will be refunded in the conditions of the article 10 below.
Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier reserves the right to slip the shipment in different packages, when the client orders different products at the same time and the products have different delivery dates.
The delivery date of the order is considered to be the date of the latest delivery, implying that the shipping costs (article 6.2 above-mentioned) will be billed to the client only once
Article 7 – Guarantees
All the products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com benefit from legal guarantees against hidden defects and lack of conformity, provided by :
- The Civil Code and specifically the following articles:
Article 1641 : « The seller is bound to a warranty on account to the latent defects of the thing sold which render it unfit for the use for which it was intended, or which so impair that use that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would only have given a lesser price for it, had he known of them. »
Article 1648, alinéa 1er : «The action resulting from redhibitory vices must be brought by the buyer within a period of two years following the discovery of the vice. »
- The French Consumer Code and especially the following articles:
Article L211-4 : « The seller’s obligation to deliver goods in conformity with the contract and his consequent liability in case of lacking conformity. He is also held liable for any lack of conformity caused by the packaging or the assembly instructions, or the installation if he assumed responsibility therefor or had it carried out under his responsibility. »
Article L211-5 : « To be compliant with the contract, the article must:
1° Fit for the purpose usually of a similar property and, where applicable:
- Match the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that has presented to the buyer as a sample or a model;
- The features that a buyer might reasonably expect given the public statements made by the seller, the producer or his representative, particularly in advertising or labeling;
2° Or have the qualities defined by common agreement by the parties or to be suitable for any particular purpose for which the buyer made known to the seller and the latter accepted. »
Article L211-12 : « Action resulting from defects to conformity lapses after two years from the date of delivery of the article. »
The client who acts in legal guarantee of conformity: - Benefit from a period of two years from the date of the delivery of the product to act; - Can choose between the repair or the replacement of the product, under the conditions stipulated by the article L.211-9 of the French Consumer Code; - Is exempted to provide the proof of the existence of the default of conformity of the good, during the six months following the delivery of the product |
Article L211-16 : When the buyer asks the seller to carry out repairs covered by his contractual guarantee, the period of any resultant shutdown of seven days or longer shall be added to the unexpired term of the guarantee. The said period shall run from the time when the buyer requests assistance or the time when the product in question is taken out of service pending repair, should this be subsequent to the request for assistance.
The legal guarantee of conformity applies regardless of any other guarantee that Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier could consent to. The client can decide to initiate the guarantee against hidden defects of the product sold according to the article 1641 of the Civil Code. In this case, the client can choose between the cancellation of the sale or a reduction of the selling price in accordance with the article 1644 of the Civil Code. |
The guarantees above-mentioned do not apply to the products modified or repaired, in any way or by any person, other than the product supplier.
In accordance with the provisions above-mentioned, the defective products, damaged or not complying with the order can be replaced or refunded, within the limit of stocks available, after the return of the product(s), in the conditions defined in the article 9 below.
In case of impossibility to replace the product(s) ordered, the client can return the said product(s) and be refunded the price paid, in the conditions defined in the articles 9 and 10 below.
The provisions of this article shall not apply, without prejudice to the legal guarantees under the condition that the client has assessed the defect at the moment of the delivery of the product(s) and has informed the customer care department of Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier, under the conditions below.
Any claim of the buyer in conformance of the warranty of conformity laid down in the articles L.211-4 and the ones following of the French Consumer Code or of the guarantee of the defects of the sold product, within the meaning of the article 1641 of the Civil Code, has to be formulated to the customer care department of Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier whose contact details are indicated in the article 1 or by mail.
Article 8 – Withdrawal
The client benefit from a withdrawal period of thirty (30) days from the day of the reception of the order.
The client has to inform Céline Roland Opticien Lunetier of its intention to use of its withdrawal right by returning the product(s), in accordance with the conditions of the article 9 below, in order to obtain the refund of its order according to the article 10 below.
This article exclusively applies to the products sold online in accordance to the article 3.
As the reservation is not subject to an obligation to purchase, this article is not applicable to the products reserved in accordance with the article 11.
However, according to the article L121-21-8:
“The right of retractation cannot be exerted for the supply of goods made in accordance with customer specifications or clearly personalized”.
No exchange and no refund can be made on an equipment adapted to the vision.
Article 9 – Return
The return by the client, of the product(s), in application of the articles 7 and 8 above-mentioned, according to the following procedure:
- The client has to complete the return voucher (including the retractation form).
- The client completes the return voucher and join it to the package containing the product(s) to be returned.
- The client returns within the authorized period its package containing the product(s) to return joined to the return voucher in the following way:

In the case of a return to the address above-mentioned, the shipping costs are at the client’s expense. It is understood that the product(s) is/are returned intact, unused, in their original package, with the cases, the eventual information manuals and all the accessories included.
The client is responsible in case of depreciation of the product resulting of manipulations others than the ones necessary to establish the nature, the characteristics and the good usage of the product.
In case of return by the client, of a product no answering the conditions above-mentioned, or damaged, incomplete, deteriorated compared to its original state or different from the initial order, the said product will not be refunded.
Article 10 – Refund
The refund of products occurs within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the reception day by Lentilles Pas Cher, of the return voucher joined to the product(s) returned according to the article 9 above-mentioned.
The refund is made using the same payment method that the one used by the client to pay its order.
The fixed costs for the delivery at home or to the address indicated by the client during the order process, indicated in the article 6.2 above-mentioned, are also refunded according to the same conditions.
Article 11 – Reservation
11.1 –The reservation does not constitute an act of purchase and is not subject to an obligation to purchase, the in-store purchase, by the client of the product(s) reserved will happen after an estimation is established in store.
The reservation does not take into account the agreements your opticians might have concluded with your supplementary health insurance or your health mutual. Depending on these agreements, your optician is susceptible to provide an offer more adapted in store.
Article 12 – Responsibilities
The products sold on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com are in accordance with French regulations.
It belongs to the client to comply with the applicable legislation in case of utilization of the product(s) in another country than France.
Article 13 – Intellectual property
All the elements appearing on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com, whether they are visual or audible, including the underlying technology, as well as the texts, brands, logos, drawings, and models appearing on the website, are protected by the copyrights of brands or patent rights. Any reproduction or representation entirely or in part of the said elements appearing on the website www.celine-opticien-lunetier.com is strictly prohibited.
Article 14 – Personal Data
The data linked to the transactions made, including medical information will not be stored more than 5 years.
An incorrect declaration or an error may also be subject to specific processing.

Article 15 – Dispute resolution
These general terms and conditions of sale are subject to French Law.
Unless the parties otherwise agree, the French courts of the plaintiff’s domicile are the only competent jurisdictions in case of dispute.
